FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about Slumbra portable sound machines, blackout blinds, and shared-bedroom comfort.
Sound Machine Questions
Will a white noise machine block my partner snoring?
A portable sound machine masks higher-frequency room noise — voices, TV, footsteps. It does not cancel low bass or vibration. Snoring is often a mix of frequencies. A sound machine can soften the edges but will not eliminate the source.
Can two people use different sound machines in the same room?
Yes. That is the core idea behind Slumbra. Two portable sound machines, one on each nightstand, give each person their own sound, volume, and timer. Same bed, different settings.
How long does the sound machine battery last?
The Slumbra Portable White Noise Machine runs for 12 hours on a single charge. USB-C rechargeable.
Blackout Blinds Questions
Are the blackout blinds really renter-friendly?
Yes. The Slumbra Portable Blackout Blind uses suction cup mounting. No tools, no drill, no screws, no holes.
Are the blackout blinds suitable for night shift workers?
Yes. The portable blackout blind is designed for day sleepers, night shift workers, and anyone whose sleep window falls during daylight hours.
